PC wont post with DVD-drive

Hello,
My issue is simple enough

When I connect a DVD drive to the sata power that also powers by SSDs. The Drive does not matter which kind, I have tried 2 of them.

After connecting upon trying to turn on the computer absolutely nothing, No fan, no beeps, no noise, NOTHING. now when disconnecting the drive it still does not power UNTIL, I remove ALL POWER , hold the power to drain the board, after leaving disconnected for around 10 minutes, I can restore power and its boots perfectly fine.

Computer boots works 100%
add DVD drive to empty sata and power with PSU sata that powers my SSDS
Meter everything, Voltages correct
Computer no longer does ANYTHING
remove DVD drive
Leave computer to drain Caps
Powers on when disconnected

So you've tried two different DVD rom drives? Have you tried switching to a different SATA port? One that is known to work such as one that is currently occupied by the a HD/SSD? Just to eliminate the possibility of the motherboard? I would plug the drive in place of one of the working hard drive is you are sure one of the drives is good.

Are you sure the cables you are using to those drives are good?

I have tried all different sata cables and i have also tried different PSU's of the same brand and model, they reacted the same way.
turns out the computer boots when the PSU is OUT of the case, but when mounted it will not, I worked the issue to not one, but two shorted dvd drives, after replacing them the computer worked correctly.

it was chance the drives I had picked both failed at the same time. I am not sure or if it was something going on that consequently shorted both.
