Hey guys, new to Toms, but been known about you for over 15 years, always enjoyed the more civility of these forums compared to others lol. Anyways, yeah planning on building a whole new Ryzen system, old school Ocer here so I will be pushing it, I could get a V10 from overseas and would like to mod it, my only concern is Am4 compatibility, I see CM has a list of coolers you can upgrade, anyone know if they have a adaptor for the V10? Yeah I can call them but wanted to see if anyone else managed to get one on a Ryzen.

No it is not, in fact Antec likely isn't made my Antec either, its likely made by Asetek which is the OEM for many of these guys.

AIO coolers rarely leak and require no maintenance.

EVGA ACX with a delta doesn't make sense, you replaced GPU fans with delta fans? The Deltas have a certain range, I'm sure they don't reach 6krpms but they could, and no matter what they will always be louder.

Like I said it seems like you are making something way more complicated than it needs to be, but if you're happy with it, then great.

Its not on thier support list, however, if you get certain boards like the ASUS Crosshair hero VI socket AM4 motherboard, it comes with AM3 mounting holes, so I guess it would work, the only other thing to worry about is its a huge cooler, and that could cause problems where ram clearance is concerned etc.

Yes the V10 was discontinued complaints were no clearence on RAM and the TEC wasnt cooled properly. But adding a delta or two should be a different story. Not worried about RAM cleareance thinking of AMD branded modules which are low profile.

As for Asus dunno, they do nannythrottling like Asrock with VRM despite APM off, I tend to stick with MSI or Biostar now

Unless you use the Croshair VI you are not running that cooler, however your plan of adding "deltas" is one of the worst ideas I've ever heard. You do realize they are the loudest thing you could possibly buy? Secondly there are no AMD Branded DDR4 modules.

Why are you making this so complicated, theres a ton of way better quiet coolers you could be using, without any of the problems of the V10

Its not a fat jet delta, It is regular 120mm but 6000 RPM and yes can be loud but its new PWM which only spins up with full load more then 10 min continuos durin gOCCT. Gaming I can barely hear it and idle its pretty hush hush, just set it in bios for PWM control ;)

Ill have to disagree to an extent on whats better? May be more simple less hassle solutions noctua for example, but with the TEC turned on and proper airflow only custom water block systems that cost hundreds cool better, just look at older reviews. The problem with stock v10 are indeed the fans even at full speed not adequate, a Delta would be and no it doesnt have to run full speed 24/7

There are 240mm AIO coolers available like the Cryorig A40 that cool better, are quieter, and is just over $100.

I mean hey its your system, but IMO its a lot of money to spend on a CPU etc to cool it with a loud (even if only at some points) frankenstein mess.

A Noctua will cool just as well if not better and be whisper quiet for 60 bucks.

Last AIO I used as Antec 920, first revision was decent but after I had to RMA due to dead pump, every single one I got and probably 5 had concave mating surface and acording to Antec thats "good" for a CPU..... I think there were a few core 2 dies that needed that... newer and vishera need flat... yeah it was so great I reach 90 c at idle. NO CONTACT :D

Its rebadged antec? Guess they realized I was right and fixed them for Cyrorig lol

In any case I dont like water, wouldnt even do custom water loop, dont want to maintain it and dont want it leaking,

EVGA ACX I have with delta is more then enough, can push 200W and it doesnt go abut 48c full OCCT load, and the fan never even reaches 6000 RPM ;)

Dont get me started on a xigmatek dark night limited I had a few years ago, I would pay over 100 for one now too bad I sold it

lol no EVGA names their tower cooler for CPU ACX too just lik etheir video ;)

Deltas range is irrelevant when they are PWM controlled in bios I have it set ti min speed all the time unless temps reach 45 degrees then it speeds up but never reaches 6000.

Yes you are correct antecs were rebadged aseteks, they made them for corsair as well dont know if they still do
