I5 7600k gtx 1070 gaming build HELP

Most new, CPU-heavy games run much better on an i7 than an i5. A few years ago games started to take advantage of more than 4 threads, and in some cases an i5's 4 simply aren't enough anymore.

An i7 7700 + B250 board, using the stock cooler, will outperform an overclocked 7600K in most cases and be cheaper overall, so that's one way to improve price : performance. A 650w PSU would not be necessary then - the i7 is a 65w chip, and the GTX 1070 is 150w, and in total your system would likely draw less than 250w under torture testing.

Would I benefit from the extra threads? ill be using this pc mostly just for gaming and daily average use.
