Hi! Having a strange issue.

Mobo: Asus prime B350-plus

I can't get monitor signal unless I have my GPU installed. The GPU is faulty so I want to return it, but it seems I can't even use the PC without it.

None of the video inputs in the mobo detect any signal, but the same monitors and cables work when plugged into the GPU.

What i have tried:
1. Removing GPU and starting machine
2. Unseating mobo battery
3. Clearing CMOS via shorting then unseating battery
4. Resetting BIOS defaults

I couldn't find an option for graphics boot order or anything.

I have uninstalled display drivers with DDU- are there certain drivers I need for onboard graphics to work? Should I disable the GPU in windows?

There is no on-board graphics, those ports are there for when AMD release RyZen APUs in the future, for now you have to have a graphics card, no other choice.
