Hi,

I have been having this problem for a while, to the point where my ISP replaced my router with a brand new one (but still identical and exact same router, the rep claimed it was a $265 router. It is a Huawei hg8245q). At first, it used to be every few hours but now it is getting to much to bare. It happens every 15-30 minutes, sometimes every 5. What happens is that I am using the PC (connected via WiFi due to proximity) and suddenly I notice in my task bar that my online programs are no longer connected and then the yellow indicator appears over my taskbar ethernet connection status.

All devices connected to the router, whether mobile, PS4 or laptop all disconnect in this house. I am also unable to access my route'rs control panel when this happens.

The issue only happens when the router is being used. For example, when I turned on my PC just now, I was able to use the internet for 3 minutes, and then the same issue occurred. I had to walk across several rooms and restart the router to restore the internet.

What can be the cause of this? I have touched the router when this issue occurred and can safety rule out overheating.
