laptop lagging after complete cleaning .

I recently got my laptop cleaned from a new guy. This guy cleaned the laptop in front of me and I could see a lot of dust being removed but when he assembled the components back He dod not apply the thermal paste saying that it was ok. Now my laptop runs worse than before. I play Dota 2 and now it lags like hell even in lowest settings. The games runs frame by frame. Same with battlefield .My rig is
Asus ROG gl55j2x
Core i7
8 gb ram
2 gb gtx 950M
1 tb harddisk. Pls help me fund the solution .

  1. Get it back and ask him to re-apply thermal paste because the laptop is most probably throttling due to overheating. Monitor your gpu and cpu temps if you need evidence.

Thank you foe your help. I hace re applied the thermal paste and it is not lagging now. But the core and gpu temps reach 80℃ while playing games like dota 2. Will this cause an issue and also my speakers have stopped working after the cleaning

Laptops always have higher temps due to bad airflow. 80C under load is safe. It is about 90-95 C that problems start. You can buy also a laptop cooler to stay a bit lower.
As far as the speakers are concerned i guess it is connection issue. If you are at the required experience level you can disassembly and check the wires from the speakers to the motherboard
