Will Gefoece Gtx 980 Run HP's X35 Omen monitor?

I currently own an external dedicated Nvidia Geforce Gtx 980 and recently ordered the HP X35 Omen.
* Is this gpu big enough to run this monitor on max settings?
* Will this gpu run this monitor smoothly and with Gsync?
* What kind of performance can I expect resolution and Hz wise?
* Should I expect a good gaming experience?

Yes it can run it well, but not max settings on all the modern games. This is very high resolution, so you will need to sacrifice settings to maintain a good frame rate on a lot of the demanding games.

If you are happy to lower detail settings, or accept lower frame rates then it will work well with the 980. Otherwise you may want to consider a gtx 1080 / 1080 Ti.
