Hey everyone
I have a low end gaming pc
Q6600 2.4 ghz
8gb ddr2 ram
1 TB+40gb sata HD
0gm819 mobo dell PSu 300 watt

I have 2 options i can get a geforce 210 1 gb ddr3 or ati HD 4650(sapphire) ddr2 which one should i go for to somehow expect good gaming and to play some modern games
I hope my cpu is not that much bad for current gaming and i have only above 2 options
which one should i choose
i wanna play games like gta 5 bf 4 or something like this
From which one i am gonna get best results

Actually, of all those three items, CPU/210/4650, the CPU is not the weak link. For starters, in today's games, DDR3 is unacceptable. You'd want to buy a DDR5 card for modern games. Those cards you mentioned are DDR2. You see the problem?

Now that you understand the limitations(no GTA V/no Battlefield 1 or 4), the 4650 would be the one to pick between those two cards.

max 6 to 6500 PKR (i will have this money shortly )
but for current time a month or two i have to take one of these until i collect this money i have an option to take one of these cards for current time being

None are good. For that amount of money there must be somewhere you can get a GT 710 minimum, probably a GTX 750. A GTX 750 will play most new games on the lowest settings. But I wouldn't expect much, with such old slow memory and weak processor, nothing new will run great.

you are suggesting 4650 that is ddr2 and geforce 210 is ddr3
should i still go for ddr2 4650

also gta 5 can be played at low settings by using 210 gpu can 4650 play it at lowest setting (atleast playable )

(please reply )(also i have taken 4650 is it best among these three)

In the case of cards like the 710 and 210, that they have DDR3 is meaningless. Those cards aren't suitable for gaming at all. The 4650 was, back in its time, a low end gaming card. This is why it's the one I'd choose if I had to choose only between these cards.

I have seen videos on Youtube of GTA V using the 4650. It's not pretty, it's not smooth, but it runs at low resolutions. Whether it's worth it is up to you to decide. There is no miracle cheap videocard that runs demanding games at smooth framerate. If there was then we'd all buy that card and nothing else.

You're not playing them with any of these cards. Your cpu too week, your memory too slow and your GPU is NOT up to it.

Agreed with above. GTA V and other modern games are going to be unplayable on these cards. 6500 PKR = ~$62 USD so can't you get something stronger than those cards? Where are you looking at buying from?

At $69 USD (~7200 PKR) you can get an RX 460 2GB Red Dragon which is as low as i would recommend, it's no beast but it's absolute leagues ahead of the HD 4650 and GT 210/710. If you can grab a cheap RX 460 or a decent card from an older series like GTX 750, R7 260X or around those levels then you would at least be able to play all those games at Low settings at smooth enough framerates. Anything weaker and you shouldn't even bother trying to run them even at 720p. Your CPU and RAM is very behind too but i expect they'd at least handle lowest settings with one of these cards. The cheapest playable card i could find on a store that uses PKR is 11,000 PKR for an RX 550 which would do the job. Hope this helps :)

Suggest a radeon card best supportive with these specs
Core 2 quad q6600(2.4 ghz)
8 gb ddr2 ram
1 Tb and 40 gb harddisk
300 wat max psu (dell)
(no molex connecters for gpu )

Either of the above (see the links i posted at the bottom). A RX 550 or RX 460 will be the best pairings so you don't overspend on something your system can't handle, but i wouldn't recommend anything much weaker if you want to handle modern games.

Your Power Supply should be fine, they are fairly low-wattage parts and don't require any external connectors. :)

Can't promise anything but I would say a minimum of 30fps is likely in these games with the details turned down which IMO is totally playable.
