Hi All!

First time posting here but I learned a lot from this community.

Trying to set a Ryzen 5 build with B350/AB350 board. 1st question I have is their difference.

Also, I would later add RX480/580 8GB Graphics. Wondering what's a suitable PSU I would prefer gold and fully modular. I would also like to hear your recommendations for a roomy Mid Tower case with tempered side panel Here's the specs.

Ryzen 5 1600
AB350/B350
RX 480/580 (later)
16gb 2400 w/led RAM (2x8gb)
1tb hdd
250gb ssd (later)
240mm closed loop water cooling (later)

Looking forward to all your thoughts.

Cheers!

Solution
For the motherboard difference, its really not that simple.
AB350 and B350 are both relatively the same. As far as I'm concerned, the whole 'AB350' thing seems like a gimmick by Gigabyte and ASRock, just as X99A was by MSI back in the day.
I would go with the B350 anyway, as most of them seem to have more SATA and USB 3.0 ports.

As for the power supply, you really don't need that much. I would go with the Seasonic 520W, as it's been unanimously accepted to be one of the highest quality PSUs on the market.

As for the case, it depends what you mean by 'Roomy'.
If you just want a big case in general, I would go Corsair Obsidian.
For mid tower: Obsidian 450D
For Full tower: Obsidian 750D
For Super Tower: Obsidian 900D
These are all pretty...

For a single graphics card get a 600-700 Power Supply Unit just in case you decide to overclock and be future proof. If is a quality PSU from a known Brand for example EVGA OR CORSAIR you will be ok with 500-600 maybe even 450w. But be careful because other brands like to over rate their PSU.

Actually 550W is more than enough for r5 1600 / rx 580 combo. Even 450w will suffice if you dont overclock your system to limits.

I suggest one of these:

My personal favorite is the bitfenix whisper m. Check out the review its excellent quality with 7 years warranty

These are all pretty roomy with tempered glass windows but they are a tad on the pricey side when it comes to cases (~$120)
If its your first time building and you want a larger case to lower the margin of error than I would get any Corsair Carbide series case. They are realatively cheap and have the room and features that a beginner would want.
I would personally recommend an NZXT S340 or S340 Elite.

Thank y'all for you answers. Seems like power isn't really an issue anymore so that's a sigh of relief coz i keep on looking at those 750W PSUs that are beyond my budget for PSUs.

NZXT S340 is almost similar to the Corsair 400C (or was it C400), right?
