**Describe your problem. List any error messages and symptoms. Be descriptive.**

When I press the power button, the case fans start spinning but the motherboard doesn't power up and my AIO cooler doesn't turn on. I don't have the video card just yet. It arrives Monday.

**List anything you've done in attempt to diagnose or fix the problem.**

I have to unplug the power cord from the back of the PSU, press the power button on the case, then plug the cord back in to the PSU to power it up. Once I do that the system runs fine until I turn it off again.

I unplugged the CPU and mobo power cables and plugged them back in to make sure it was a good connection. That didn't seem to fix it.

**Post relevant photos of build/parts here.**

I can take photos of the MOBO but not sure if that's necessary.

**Provide any additional details you wish below.**

I copied this from reddit r/buildapc in the hopes that I can figure out what the problem is before my return window expires in case something is wonky. Thanks in advance for the help!

Please explain system runs fine, do you get bios to display on your monitor?

Bios displays, I can boot in to windows and play games, do whatever I need to do. Just on initial boot, when I press the power button on the case, the motherboard appears to not have power. Unplugging the psu cord, hitting the case power button, then plugging the cable back in and pressing the case power button makes everything work as normal.

Should say too that I got the video card and installed it. When I power the computer on the video card lights up and fans start spinning but still the motherboard power and AIO cooler don't start until after I unplug/plug back in the psu power cable.

I was having this problem before I installed the video card too running off onboard graphics. There is a small LED light on the board that is illuminated in the bottom right hand corner. I will have to double check tonight when I get home.

So after looking over the board, the POWER LED in the bottom right of the board is illuminated when the system is off. When I hit the case power button everything starts up but the motherboard and CPU cooler. When I hit the power switch on the back of the PSU to turn it off, then back on, then the case power button, everything works and windows boots like normal.

I can try a different PSU from an older machine. Just seems weird that everything else but the motherboard works fine on initial power up and the mobo only comes on after a power cycle. Maybe the CPU or 24 pin connector cable is bad?

I have the exact same problem on my Z270H and 0906 bios, with a gpu card installed. It's not gpu related it seems. It's really annoying, the only way to reboot after a shutdown is to remove power from the PSU, wait, and power on again.

I'm trying this now
"Change the CPU System Agent Boot Voltage and CPU VCCIO Boot Voltage to 1.150. Fixed the problem."
