Short : Have corrupted foled and doesn't respond when trying to remove it. [not even in safe mode]

Long : So I've discovered a corrupted file in game files of one of my game.

I've tried to remove it but it doesn't respond. I right-click to delete but nothing shows up or deletes. I've tried to uninstall the game, remove folders but everythings is gone but that corrupted file.

I've tried to remove it in safe mode but again it didn't responded and nothing happened. When I try to open it it says

*pathway to the file* is not accessible

File or directory is corrupted / broken and is unreadable.

Thanks for any help / advice :)

Have you rebooted to see if it changes access, or goes away?
If not, you can try "Take Ownership". You can manually do the registry hacks to enable it, or at the bottom of the page is a download to easily configure it: https://www.howtogeek.com/howto/windows-vista/add-take-ownership-to-explorer-right-click-menu-in-vista/ (works on Windows 7 and 10).

Thanks captaincharisma! I've scanned my hard drive and then after repairing I was able to remove it!

Also thank you dudio! I would try it but I first tried the easier option.
