Need Help with Storage Upgrade

I m using Lenovo Ideapad 300-15ISK. Current Config is I5-6th Gen / 2 TB HDD / 16 GB RAM / 2 GB Graphic AMD R5 M330.

I m upgrading my storage by adding a ssd of 120GB to main hard disk slot and will be adding caddy where i will keep my 2 TB HDD. So will my laptop Support the increase ? I m adding ssd so that i can make ssd as my OS drive for better performance
Please Help me with this.

You'll have to research yourself whether your laptop supports an m.2 or sata 3 SSD upgrade, most cases it's the m.2 SSD. If it does, then you'll have to unscrew the back of the laptop and install it manually.

have you checked the expand option that you can do? some might have an empty slot like m.2 or other interface. try to contact your laptop manufacturer, im not really sure about upgrading storage to like above 2tb (as it is such high capacity and laptop have more limited things in expansion things)
