CPU with no cooler

So, currently I am waiting to replace my failing H100i V2 from Corsair, but I left it installed until the replacement arrives. So I am technically with no CPU cooler. Is it normal for the CPU to overheat quite easily at idle? For example, 1 minute after turning ON the PC it heats up at about 70°C (158°F). I just want to know this because I don´t know if I have a problem with my cooler or with both, the cooler and the CPU.

Thank you all :)

Best not to play on your computer to be on the safe side because with no cooler your cpu will get hotter. So wait for the new cooler because if you decide to play it without one it could damage the CPU !
