A buddy of mine told me I should post my build here and get some advice on it before I start buying the parts so here's my build.

Approximate Purchase Date: I plan on starting to buy parts this month

Budget Range: Before rebates and after shipping I'll go up to 1900

System Usage from Most to Least Important: Gaming with dual monitors

Are you buying a monitor: Yes

Do you need to buy OS: Yes

Preferred Website(s) for Parts: I'm using pcpartpicker, so whichever has the best deal

Location: City, State/Region, Country - we need to know where these parts are being assembled and whether there are good store-only deals available

Parts Preferences: Intel CPUs, NVIDIA GPUs, otherwise no preference

Overclocking: Maybe

SLI or Crossfire: No

Your Monitor Resolution: 1920x1080

Additional Comments: I want a nice case with a window; thinking about getting LED's. Also, can someone recommend an awesome set of speakers with a wall-shaking bass the ones I have currently picked have good reviews, but I have no experience with them. I'd mostly be using that for blasting music, but also gaming. Additionally, my old monitor is an acer with 60 Hz refresh rate and 1920x1080 res, would it be fine to use the monitor in my part list for a dual set up?

And Most Importantly, Why Are You Upgrading: I just want to build a really nice gaming pc for running games like Battlefield 1 and The Witcher 3 at max graphics and still have atleast 60 fps

Current Part List:
Intel - Core i5-6600K 3.5GHz Quad-Core Processor
Cooler Master - Hyper 212 EVO 82.9 CFM Sleeve Bearing CPU Cooler
MSI - Z170A GAMING M5 ATX LGA1151 Motherboard
Corsair - Vengeance LPX 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR4-3000 Memory
Samsung - 850 EVO-Series 500GB 2.5" Solid State Drive
MSI - GeForce GTX 1070 8GB Video Card
NZXT - S340 (Black/Red) ATX Mid Tower Case
EVGA - SuperNOVA G2 550W 80+ Gold Certified Fully-Modular ATX Power Supply
Microsoft - Windows 10 Pro OEM 64-bit
Acer - GN276HL bid 27.0" 1920x1080 144Hz Monitor
Logitech - Z623 200W 2.1ch Speakers

Thanks for any help!

Windows 10 Pro edition isn't really necessary, might as well switch to the standard home edition for cheaper unless you specifically need a feature found on the Pro version. Rest of the build looks good, Witcher 3 and Battlefield will run great at 1080p 60+ FPS on Ultra (Don't know about HairWorks...), only other suggestion would be consider getting a i7-7700K + Z270 Motherboard they shouldn't cost much more but are faster, but again it's no priority only if the price is equal or within a small fraction it would be worth it. If you think you'll get around to Overclocking i would also suggest getting a Cryorig H7 over the Hyper 212 EVO, it's a solid air cooler for the price. Hope this helps :)

hi dcschiavon,

the build seems great but OEM keys fix on to the motherboard ( which means you can't reuse the key later ) and you'll probably need more storage later on

Both monitors should be fine with the setup and i can't recommend speakers cause mine are quite old :D
good luck!

Keep the speakers, monitor, etc. the same, but:
MSI Krait Gaming Z270
MSI GTX 1070 Armor
Samsung 250 SSD
WD Black 2TB
Corsair RM750i PSU
NZXT S340 Elite
Corsair Vengance 16GB RAM kit (2x8)
i5 7600K
Windows 7 Pro

*I DO NOT recommend buying an 120 something $ copy of the OS!Buy it on Kinguin,or let the nearby PC shop put the OS on there for you. Also, windows 10 sux dont use it its made to destroy computers.
