upgraded CPU now GPU isnt working

I recently upgraded my cpu from a i3 to a i5 7400 But now my GPU wont work the fans spin but the device manager isn't recognizing and it wont even recognize it in the bios? it was working fine before the upgrade i didnt even touch the gpu. Please help

Slot: I doubt the slot is the cause.
PSU: Your PSU is more than sufficient.

Question: Do you have the 4 pin ATX12 (CPU) cable connected from the power supply to the motherboard? There is a 4 pin socket on the motherboard which might have been optional until you upgraded to an i5. Is it connected?

r7 360 2gb graphics card (slow i know)
8gb of furyX DDR4 RAM
H110M-A m.2 motherboard

it black screens when i plug hdmi cord into the gpu

I had a specific reason for asking for full specs. You have a H110 chipset motherboard, but you're running a kaby lake CPU (i5-7400). Most motherboards with that chipset won't work with the newer CPUS unless the BIOS is updated. But in your case I presume the CPU works because you made no mention of it not. Could you try to update the BIOS right now and see if there is any change?

Yeah i realized this before I brought the new cpu and updated my bios but that was when the cpu had first launched so i guess i can see if there is anymore updates for the bios

According to the CPU support list, you need to be on least B0 Version 3407. It's probably not the issue, but I'm grasping at straws.

Another question: What is the manufacturer and model number of your power supply?
