Hello everyone, I have built a system like 5 months ago and at the time I games still ran fine but nowadays I just feel like maybe its time to upgrade.

I currently have:

CPU: Intel Core i5-4460
CPU COOLER: Stock cooler.
MOBO: ASRock H97M-itx/ac
RAM: Patriot Viper 16GB DDR3
SSD: 240GB SanDisk Plus
GPU: AMD HD 6850 << This is just a GPU my brother gave me because I can't afford a GTX 1050 Ti.
PSU: Corsair CX750
CASE: Thermaltake Core V1

New build I want to get:

CPU: AMD Ryzen R5 1500X
CPU COOLER: Stock cooler.
MOBO: Biostar A320MD PRO AM4
RAM: HyperX Fury Black 8GB
SSD: Keep my current SSD.
HDD: 1TB Western Digital
GPU: RX480?
PSU: Keep my current PSU
CASE: Corsair 270R

Please could you critic my PC and reply with any suggestions, I would like to stay at the lowest price possible since I don't have that much money.

Thank you :)

Solution
Your old CPU is still pretty decent, there's no need to go and buy R5 1500X with a non-overclockable motherboard (only B350 and X370 can). Just buy a new GPU.

Okay, thank you for your feedback.

Should I buy a GTX 1050 Ti or anything ekse?

Yes this is very true. As for the 1050ti, I would say if you can, go for the RX 480/580 in it`s stead as it will perform much better. But if the budget does not allow for such things then the Ti should be fine but as a last resort see if you can`t rather get a 3Gb GTX 1060, it`s cheaper than the RX`es and it performs pretty decently.

You will be completely underwhelmed by the "improvement". Just buy a new GFX card. Whatever your flavour, 1060 / RX580. I'd consider getting a 1070 if your budget can stretch that far.

The only other "upgrade" I would recommend is a cheap aftermarket cooler, as the old Intel stock cooler may get very noisy under load. With a new GPU, you are no longer GPU bound, so the CPU will work more, and the Intel stock cooler isn't the quietest thing ever made. It still keeps you from getting thermal throttle but you wouldn't like the noise.

Ohhh okay, the CPU cooler has been very quiet all the time but I see what you mean, the CPU will work harder so the fan will spin faster. I was wondering why my CPU load was always at about 50-60%

Thank you and everyone else for your feedback :)
