Hey guys,

I recently replaced the jack for the HyperX Cloud Stinger headset as it was broken. I soldered it and have had experience before hand soldering but the headset plays no base in the right ear. Also when using a polarity check the left ear is head in the right, cheers for any problems solving it!.

Solution
Probably some wire mixup/reversal or a short in the soldering.

Unfortunately such products are not meant to be repaired/repairable even with good soldering skills.

Heat may have damaged some other part or area.

May need to cut off the new plug and try a "do-over".

Breadboard the headset wires to plug first (i.e., just temporary connections) to see if the headsets do indeed work as expected).

If again no bass right ear, there may be some other problem elsewhere.
