Will my PSU support my build or will it explode?

Will my PSU support my build or do i need to buy a better one?

My PSU: Elite Power 350W Cooler Master

My PC specs-
Motherboard: Asus M5A78L-M/USB3
Processor: AMD FX-6100 (6 cores)~3.3 Ghz (95 W)
GPU: ZOTAC GeForce® GTX 1050 Ti OC Edition (75 W)(haven't installed it yet)
Memory: 8GB DDR3 (Corsair Vengeance)

When I calculated the power consumed at peaks, it is around 240 W. Recommended PSU is 290 W.
But my PSU has a split +12v Rail and I think that makes a difference. I really don't want an explosion after I install the GPU. But I also don't want to waste money buying a new PSU. So my question is do I absolutely need to buy a new PSU or can I use my current model. Please help me.
Thanks.

:D:lol::pt1cable:
Seriously though, should i install the GPU. My motherboard also has an anti surge protection so I guess nothing can go wrong. But I'm concerned whether it would run. Man i got many games to play. Really waiting for some opinions.
That video is :lol::D
It's also racist af.

Elite Power 350 Lousy efficiency. Does not have two +12volt rails as advertised. No Over Current Protection as advertised. No Over Power Protection as advertised. Tested by Hardware Secrets

I wouldn't touch it!!

But do I need it?? Like is it not possible to use the one i have?? Because I am running low on money here. Gotta buy controllers, microphones, a new monitor and perhaps a good camera. Starting a channel on Youtube.

The PSU is the heart of your system. Without it NOTHING works!. The PSU is the only component that, if it fails, can destroy ALL of your other components! Never "cheap out" on the PSU, it is false economy!

If you don't have money for a good PSU, how are you going to have money to replace all of your other parts?

Until all of a sudden, it doesn't.:pfff::sarcastic::no:

To the OP: Look, it is your PC and your money. The CM PSU you have is questionable at BEST. If you want to risk blowing up your PC, be my guest. Personally, I wouldn't chance it. YMMV.

It has never happened to me once since 1993 and the only power supply I had a failure with , didn't blow any components and it was hand built and wired . Admittedly it was 8 years old running 24 seven overclock's and was the a weight of house brick specially built. I am not suggesting buying a crappy power supply but if it has over voltage and overheating protection and he is not doing crazy overclocks and has a decent motherboard ,with decent power phases ,the likelihood of failure is very minimal.

Also in response to the video, at no point does it show ,degrade or mention people of the Muslim faith,it could just as easily have been an IRA extremist guy, yelling in an Irish accent ,Or a ETA extremist screaming in Spanish,The fact that he is yelling in Arabic is irrelevant and is just conveying the anger someone feels when a cheap power supply literally explodes like a terrorist bomb in your case ,Personally ,It cracks me up.I live in Melbourne ,Australia,And my suburb Brunswick , if not the largest ,is the biggest Muslim area in town , I have many Muslim friends and we laugh about these issues a lot .

If a sample selected by the Mfg doesn't have Over voltage or Over current protection, what makes you think the
one the OP bought off the shelf would have it?

Well If it is as bad as you say ,a2hu should just buy a 550 watt bronze power supply from, are repetably manfacturer,that will be slightly futureproof ,What was the marketing department thinking putting out a piec e of junk ,Great idea lets make our quality products look crappy with junky low end power supplies under the same name coolermaster

Yes, a better PSU is advisable - but that CM Elite 350 is not S - - t as I say, but as Hardware Secrets, one of the top
3 PSU review testing sites (along with johnnyguru and HardOcp) concludes after testing.

Coolermaster is not the only manufacturer that has both crappy PSUs and great PSUs. If you LOOK at the tier list, you will see that a lot of manufacturers have PSUs in All of the tiers. But if you want to run only tier 4 or 5 PSUs, be my guest.
