Asus z270e and corsair h100i v2 setup

Hey guys here's what I have
Corsair 460x case
Intel 7700k
Gtx 1070
Asus z270e MB
Corsair h100i v2
Samsung evo 500gb SSD and a 2TB HD

This is my first build I have everything set up works fine but the connectors to the h100i v2 I have the power cable plugged in and the corsair led turns on but I can not figure out for the life of me where the cable with the 2 connectors plug in I know there suppose to plug in to some fan cables but I see no cables to plug in too. I looked it up and watch video on YouTube see a guy run the cable to the back and just plug it right in to the fan cables well I have none I looked everywhere even both of the manuels. So if you could please help me it would be much appreciated. If a picture would help let me know and I'll try to figure out how to upload one, thanks

I just been using it without it plugged in and it's been running at good temperature.

The 2 connectors on the h100i v2 are for the 2 fans. This is optional and you can leave that unplugged.

If you connect the 2 radiator fans on that 2 connector plugs you mentioned, all the fans and the h100i v2 pump will run off of 1 header (CPU_FAN). This is not advisable as you'd either have that header running in PWM (or 100% DC mode if you are connecting this on a DC header). Basically, you want your pump to run at 100% while your rad fans run at varying speeds (unless you don't care about the noise and lifespan of the fans).

Connect the 2 radiator fans on the fan header/s of your motherboard (CPU_FAN and/or CPU_OPT), while your h100i v2 pump should be connected to your Asus MB's AIO_PUMP header. This is actually recommended by Asus (as per manual) as you are using the mobo's AIO_PUMP header (which, by default, runs the non-variable-speed h100i v2 pump at 100%) and the 2 fans connected to the CPU_FAN header running in PWM mode (variable speed based on temp readings).

Alright thanks that's actually how I had it set up as the recommended set up. I was really wondering why they weren't connected but I see what you mean now how they can plug in either way. My CPU and mother have been running at cool temps like 30-35C so I think it's good I was getting all worked up for nothing thinking it wasn't set up right. Thanks for the help I heard you can change the LEDs on the motherboard do you know how I can do that?

To control the LEDs on your Asus Z270E, you need to install the Asus AURA Driver/Software.

You can download it here: https://www.asus.com/us/Motherboards/ROG-STRIX-Z270E-GAMING/HelpDesk_Download/

Go to Driver & Tools, Select your OS (I suppose you're running Windows 10 64-bit), Go to Utilities and look for "Aura V1.04.29". It's about ~33MB.

Thanks i did this but now my pc i making much noise it is the radiator fans i think any solutions?

You did the ASUS recommended setup? with fans to CPU_FAN and CPU_OPT and the pump to the pump header??
I've got the ASUS Rog strix x99, h100i v2 cooler.. and have the same doubts

I'm having issues with this too. I've set up as mentioned above. Aio to Aio fab header. Then running the radiator fans to Cpu_fan and Opt_cpu headers. My temperature rises very rapidly in bios any idea why and how to fix this issue?
