Hi

I am new with pc gaming, and i build my pc last night, but i stoped with my Deepcool Maelstrom 120 t cpu cooler

should the fan push air inside or outside the radiator? i hope you get the point :ange:

also, where should i install the pump wire? in cpu fan or cha fan?

Solution
A 120mm liquid cooler will probably only lower the idle temp a couple degrees at best; where liquid coolers really help is when you're throwing your games at the CPU.

Just make sure that there's a good bit of airspace behind the computer so the hot air has somewhere to go once it's out of the case. Also, the best airflow pattern for a computer is intake through the front and bottom and exhaust through the top and rear; if your fans aren't set up like that, you're probably not getting the best cooling.

also, i think the core temp is little bit hight for liquid cooler without any load..

After looking a little closer at your pictures...if you put your hand over the top of the case where the radiator is, do you feel a decent stream of hot air coming out? If not, you may have mounted the fan to the radiator backwards.

to be honest, i am thinking about change it with something else, i belive idle temp should be law with liquid cooling

Flip the fan over; if it's putting air into the case you installed it upside down on accident. It'll still work and will cool the radiator, but it's not nearly as efficient.

In their picture, the logo you see is not photoshopped on; it's on the fixed part of the fan that houses the motor and bearings.
