The last few days have been hell as I was getting the BSOD almost immediately after logging into my PC (memory_management error, issues finding kernels?). It was until this morning that I finally got my computer to function for more than 30 seconds without it crashing.

I tried windows memory diagnostics tool and it did detect a hardware issue. I also read somewhere that it might have been an issue with the power so I bumped it to 1.55v, nothing changed. I eventually just ended up removing one the sticks.

It booted up and works just fine, but now I'm down 8gb of ram. This isn't a big issue for me as I mainly use it for gaming, but I am curious as to what was causing this? Motherboard issue with socket or maybe wrong placement?

If anyone has had this issue in the past please let me know. I paid for 16gb and I'd like to be using it. Big thanks for any help!

My build:
Intel - Core i7-4790K
Asus - Z97-A ATX LGA1150
Corsair - Vengeance Pro 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR3-1866
Corsair - CXM 750W 80+ Bronze Certified Semi-Modular ATX

Solution
"memory_management error" That means your RAM has problem, just like you posted, run the diagnostics tool and found the error.
Contact corsair for RAM replacement.
