Tips for First budget build

Solution
I know I'm 3 bucks over budget but you get faster RAM and a SSD and a better quality PSU:

The GTX 1060 6GB beats the 580 in most games.

That WIFI is fairly bad if the router is in your house this is the best thing to get other than a direct line.

Buy a new drive 1TB for 48 bucks with a 3 year warranty.
For gaming I would also go with the faster 4 core 8 tread processor and a bit faster memory.

Erhm, are you sure about that?

well I wouldn't value the S12II over the new CXMs
yes the CXM doesn't use japanese caps throughout the unit but there are a good share of quality caps in there
furthermore it's not group regulated like the S12II, comes with DCDC converters and is semi-modular as a bonus
good ripple and noise ratings too (not the strong-suit of the S12II)
I really dig Seasonic and their work and the S12II was a beast at it's time but the design is kinda outmoded by now imo.

This is correct, on average the RX 580 is the stronger card. If you need more evidence read up on any one of these, even Tom's benched this and the RX 580 won in a majority of titles:

I'm guessing that should be enough...

Other than that the above builds look good, but if you go Ryzen i agree with Isokolon on spending more for the faster RAM, it's well worth it on Ryzen. As for the Power Supply... i'd still personally prefer the SeaSonic S12-II but the new Corsair CXM are good quality and a strong competitor for the price. It's not like you will notice a difference between which ever one you get.

See some performance tests here for Ryzen RAM speeds >https://www.eteknix.com/memory-speed-large-impact-ryzen-performance/.

The S12II does seem dated. Was thinking they are still better than the Channel Well based Corsair CXM units. If it were me, I would try to up the budget and go for a EVGA G2.

5 out of 6 games here . You can hand pick games and get any results you wish.

the only thing I'm seeing is that the 1060 does a bit better with DX11, the 580 with DX12
overall difference is within 3-4 fps, this is within the margin of error and specific sample
they perform roughly the same

Ironic that most those games were tested in a majority of the sources above and the RX 580 wins. (Witcher 3, ROTR, etc.) Not sure what you are trying to prove by posting some random YouTube video with only 6 games and no reliability. I'd take any of the sources above over some random YouTube clip. Digital Foundry, HardwareCancucks, PCGamer, Techreport, Techspot, Trusted Reviews and even Tom's Hardware the site we are on right now... But i don't want to go off topic here, if you read even one of the above links which are all reliable sources that have been benchmarking for years then you would already know the RX 580 > GTX 1060 6GB on an average across many, many games.

Thanks for your answers! I finally modified a bit the Isokolon's list.
PD: I previously decided to buy the rx580 over the gtx 1060 because, it has more vram and runs beter with dx12.
