If you only play games like those a gtx 1060 is good but only at 1080p if you want to go 1440p go for the gtx 1070 for sure but a gtx 1060 and gtx 1070 Will max out AAA games on 1080p maybe the gtx 1060 may have a bit of problem but only few instances but on high it will max all for sure! and gtx 1070 should nearly max out AAA games on 1440p but again high to medium is guaranteed max nearly all the time

GTX 1060 can play these games at 1440p at 60fps but it won't be able to play newer games at 1440p 60fps.
GTX 1070 can play these and newer games at 1440p 60fps but its a lot more expensive.
I myself would get 1060 and just lower the resolution to 1080p for newer games.
