Check for a "start" button on the motherboard itself. If it won't power on from that button, your motherboard's dead.

If your motherboard doesn't have that button, double check to make sure you plugged everything into the right part of the 9 pin header, and that none of them are the wrong way around.

So there's no start button on the board then. Does anything inside light up when you plug the PSU in?

Check the motherboard power connection, just in case. It could be just barely not pushed in, which could be causing it to not get power.

Probably the best option at this point. If the new one doesn't work either though, check the power connector and make sure it's the right one for your motherboard's form factor. You may wind up needing an adapter, even if the plug's shape all match.
