Yes the lights light up on the cable. I bought the cable separately and it works with a different pc but it doesn't with this one. I am really fustrated and don't know what i need to do to get it working, maybe the drivers? But i cant find them anywhere online. I only have the disc that came with the motherboard but i have no optical disc drive. Im connecting the cable to the router and pc

then the card is working, the problem is the modem you are using
turn the router/modem off and turn it on
if that doesn't help, try with another cable
do you use a router and the a switch or a cable directly to the router?
if you use a modem, then a router and a switch, turn off all 3, first the modem, then the router and finally the switch, tunr first modem, then router and finally switch
have you set a ip on the windows 10 pc?
if not, ppress windows key and r
the run command will pop up, write cmd
press enter and then write ipconfig /release and press enter
then write ipconfig / renew
another enter
should work no
if still doesn't work perhaps you could download a driver via your smartphone via the web site of the mainboard manufacturer, download it on the memory and then copy it to the pc via usb cable and try again the previous steps mentioned if still refuses to work
