My pc crashes every time I exit CS:GO. Any suggestions as to how I can fix it?

I just got a new PC, I have an rx480, 8gbs of ram and an i7 7700k (Pretty sure other specs are irrelevant for this case in particular). Anyway every time I close CSGO my screen goes black and I can't do anything besides restarting my pc. This doesn't happen with any other of my games it's just CSGO. When I alt tab my monitor will go dark and I can tab back into csgo. Anyway the only way I can close csgo is by restarting my PC. I already tried to uninstall and install it again on both my hdd and my ssd. Any suggestions as to how I could fix this? Any help would be appreciated.

I got a question about uninstalling drivers. When I uninstall them will I have to connect my monitor to my integrated gpu and reinstall the drivers or will my card keep working and just need the latest drivers? Sorry if this sounds like a really stupid question but this is the first time I've had driver issues so I've never had to uninstall and re-install.

Ok I'll try it as soon as I can. Luckily it's just CSGO so I guess I can live without csgo for a while. Just don't want to modify anything on my computer right now since I'm one week away from ending my semester and I wouldn't want to lose anything on my pc or lose my pc itself. Thanks for the help.
