Low FPS brand new 1050 ti

I just got a GeForce GTX 1050 ti 3 days ago, i have been through a whole lot trying to get it to work the way that it should. I did everything the way i was supposed to and the card is not dead because i can see the fans spin every time i turn the computer on. But i have lower FPS (20-45) in game than i did with my last graphics card (GeForce GT 730). I just want to be able to play my games with high FPS again. Someone plz help me.

you have a super weak dual core, so simply adding a new gpu does not guarantee better fps


that said

all old drivers uninstalled? Use DDU if you did not do this.


are you sure you are not running on the built in graphics of the apu? Make sure it is disabled in the bios, and you are actually running on the 1050.


the monitor hooked up to the new card and NOT the mobo?
