I have an i5 7600k with a Noctua NH-D15 cooler. Idle temps are within 1-2 degrees Celsius. After playing EQ2 I noticed a spike on my 4th core. Here are the max temps as per HWmonitor:

core 1: 50
core 2: 49
core 3: 52
core 4: 56

Max utilization is:
core 1: 82%
core 2: 78%
core 3: 95%
core 4: 100%

I just switched coolers from a cm 212 evo and the 4th core always ran a couple degrees hotter. Is it how eq2 utilized the cores that made the 4th run hotter? all cores reached a clock speed of 4203 MHz. Should I reseat my cooler? or is it normal?

Solution
This is completely normal. Programs would never use all the cores equally and this including stress test as well, so a couple C different between the cores is nothing.
