I am about to build a new computer. I do have an existing ssd with a bunch of programs on it such as my video editing software and steam. I was curious, if I take my ssd out and put it in after I install the OS, am I going to run into any issues running my programs? If so, is there a way to move them over so they will be on the same ssd in the end?

I should mention, there is no OS on the ssd and I will have a separate ssd for the OS in the new system.

I figured as much. Just hoping someone out there with more knowlegde than me could have told me different. Thanks.

There used to exist some programs that promised to move installed programs to fresh system but I don't know if they work any more. Steam also has some utility to reapply games to fresh system without downloading them again and I think Valve and some others may have that too.
