Hey man , currently , I am using i7 7700k (o'clocked at 4.7Ghz) + 1080 ti amp extreme (no oc) + 16Gb 3.2Ghz RAM (XMP enabled) + 24"5 inch (75Hz) Monitor + GA GA Z270X Gaming K5 Mobo ... I tried to play GTA V using ultra settings / NO AA but I didnt even get the 200 FPS whatsoever man .. when I was roaming around the city , my fps was around 40-80fps only .. it gets worse if I drive around the mountain site and places that has lots of grass , my fps went down to about 27-40fps only ! .. wtf is wrong with this man ? plssss .. help me with my issue man .. I'm dying right here man .. pls .. I need your help .. do telle what to do , what settings are you at ? nvidia control panel , geforce experience , in game settings , pc settings ? .. pls just tell me what is wrong with my pc and what must I do to get that 200 fps using i7 7700k and ZOTAC 1080 Ti Amp Extreme ???

Full Specification of my rig :-

- CPU = Intel Core i7 7700k (Unlocked) 4.2Ghz - 4.5Ghz
- GPU = Zotac Geforce GTX 1080 Ti Amp Extreme 11GB GDDR5X
- MOTHERBOARD = Gigabyte Aorus Z270X Gaming K5
- RAM = 8GB x 2 G.Skill Trident Z RGB Fusing 3200MHz
- PSU = Corsair RMX Series 80+ Gold Fully Modular PSU 650 Watts
- HDD = Seagate Firecuda 1TB / 64MB SATA 3.5" Desktop SSHD
- SSD = 120GB Rapid X
- COOLER = Corsair H115i Extreme Liquid Cooler
- CASING = Tecware Titan ATX
- WIFI ADAPTER = USB TP-Link
- MONITOR = Acer KG1 Gaming Series / Acer KG251Q Frameless 24'5 Gaming Monitor 75 Hz
- OS = Windows 10 Pro 64 Bits
- RESOLUTION = In Game Reso + Normal Desktop Reso > 1980 x 1080p 75 Hz (Tried playing 4k reso in gta v , the FPS Rate went from bad to worse)

Time Spy Demo Version and my results are as follows :-

Total score = 8615

Graphic Score = 10012
Graphic Test 1 = 64FPS
Graphic Test 2 = 58FPS

Cpu Score = 4813
Cpu Test = 16.17FPS

P.S / Either at default or OC-ed , My CPU's temp is normal between 50-70 'C and never went above 70 so far .. I've already try playing GTA V at 4.2 Ghz , 4.5 Ghz , 4.7 Ghz but still doesn't make much of a different and still having a hard time to achieve a stabil average FPS and won't be able to get that 90-110 FPS (supposely) ...

* The only thing that my dealer said to me was he already unlocked all 8 of my cores (which I don't know what it means and figure it would increase my CPU full potentials) and also enabled the XMP for the RAM . I also downloaded Parkcontrol and Unpark45 , meaning I already unparked my cpu but still doesn't make any differences at all ..

First off, what resolution are you playing at? Also you have to realize that just because you see an FPS on youtube, doesn't mean it will be running on your computer as well. This is because not all chips are created equally. What benchmark score did you get? What are your temps looking like?

Yes sir , I did ... I downloaded the GTA from Steam itself , I bought it from steam .. but before that , I used to play the gta using my laptop .. once I bought a new rig , I reinstalled the gta via steam

The benchmark says that your CPU is only putting out 16.17 FPS? I don't exactly know how that translates out to GPU FPS, but that could be your issue right there; your CPU may not be sending enough frames to your GPU.

Ooh. In that case try what madmatt30 said and reduce your CPU's clock speed. I'd start all the way back at stock speed, and increase just a little at a time until you start getting the issue again, then back it off to the last level that worked and leave it there.
