Help Choosing a Graphics Card

I need help picking a graphics card for gaming. I'm open to suggestions because this is my first time building.

ASUS H170 PRO GAMING LGA 1151 Intel H170 HDMI SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.1 USB 3.0 ATX Intel Motherboard
Intel - Core i7-6700 3.4GHz Quad-Core Processor
G.Skill - Ripjaws 4 series 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR4-2400 Memory
Corsair - 450D ATX Mid Tower Case
Corsair - CXM 750W 80+ Bronze Certified Semi-Modular ATX Power Supply
Acer - GN246HL 24.0" 1920x1080 144Hz Monitor

Ok, so you are picking a card, but what are you going to be playing? The GTX 1070 or RX 580 is probably your top two choices here. Also, I would get the Rm650x as a power supply instead of that CXM brand. It isn't bad, but the RMx series are a bit better quality. If you can bump up your budget, get a 6700K and Z170 board, and that way you have maximum speed for Skylake (at least for mainstream).
