Hello! I recently upgraded from a R7 460 to a GTX 1070. Before the upgrade the pc booted in 30 seconds or less, but now it takes from 1-2 minutes to boot.

I am running an AMD FX-8320 CPU, a MSI -MS-7641 Motherboard, a GTX 1070 Graphics Card, 16 GB Kingston Ram, 2 Hard Drives, (1 new for main storage and 1 old for backup storage), and a 500W Power Supply.

Side Note: Sometimes when i boot the PC it loads into a "Preparing Automatic Repair" screen, which i just restart the computer to get out of. Also, whenever i boot the PC it gives a "4th Master Hard Disk S.M.A.R.T. Command Failed" error and makes me hit F1 to continue.

When you moved from an AMD video card to an Nvidia card did you clean out all the old AMD software?

I'd reset the BIOS to defaults, save. Then reseat the SATA cables for your two hard drives.

Do you have any other drives plugged in like a CDROM drive? Something is making the BIOS timeout, and most optical drives look like disk drives.

I did go in and delete the AMD Drivers. One problem is that I have tried nearly every key and cannot figure out how to get to BIOS. I do also have an CD/ROM Drive. I forgot to mention. I have Windows 10.

You can get into BIOS from win10 doing this: http://www.laptopmag.com/articles/access-bios-windows-10

Or from a power on your can do this (Think this is your MB manual): https://us.msi.com/Motherboard/support/880GMSE35.html#down-manual

It says

Power on the computer and the system will start PoSt (Power on Self test) process. When the message below appears on the screen, press <deL> key to enter Setup. Press deL to enter SetuP
if the message disappears before you respond and you still wish to enter Setup, restart the system by turning it oFF and on or pressing the ReSet button. you may also restart the system by simultaneously pressing <Ctrl>, <alt>, and <delete> keys.

I've tried everythung stated above and none of it worked. I don't have a UFEI option. Also, I removed he backup hard drive and no longer get the SMART error, but now the computer won't start up. It either gets stuck on the windows logo or on a "Preparing Automatic Setup" screen.
