If I plug in my audio to the back panel where the mobo ports are, every 5 minutes realtek audio driver says a device has been plugged in then right after it says unplugged. I'm not even plugging or unplugging anything. I posted this before and people said my earbuds has a bad wire. It's plugged through the audio port on my blackwidow chroma. I moved it to the front ports and I no longer have that problem nor do I experience the sound cut outs anymore. It was bad to the point where when the sound cuts out in games, the game would just freeze and it won't let me alt tab out. I'd try to open task manager and stuff but the game would be in front and I cant end the task. I would just ctrl alt del and sign out. Anyone know what's wrong with my mobo ports?

It's a 3.5mm headphone but the keyboard has the 2.5 I think like the shorter ones that doesn't have the mic ring thing on it. My mobo is Gigabyte B250M DS3h. I don't think I have any sound software installed. Actually I have realtek audio I got from gigabyte website which is the thing sending all these notifications every 5 seconds even when I turned them off. When I go to sound settings my monitor comes up and it shows AMD high definition audio device.

If I switch to the monitor would the sound still come out through my earbuds or would it come out from the monitor speakers? Right now I currently have the default as "Speakers (Realtek high definition audio)"
