LONG time viewer first post though. Here goes;

Current system specs;
https://valid.x86.fr/v10x9i

So now that motherboards have come down a little in price (well AM3+ after AM4 release), is it worth the money to upgrade? I have included my current system CPU-Z link (please forgive me if that's not allowed) as I feel that its already about as good as I can get, but I still want more. LOL. I have hit my limit on CPU speed, whether its a voltage boost (+1 more tick), or multiplier, I blue screen but as of right now I can run AMD overdrive, Prime 95, or Intelburn and be rock solid stable. I could possibly get some FSB for my CPU speed but I can't have my ram @2400 or it blue screens. Also I have looked into load line calibration for my voltage droop but when i enable that it shoots up to 1.5 and blue screens instantly, so I turned it back off (it is either enabled or disabled on my mobo). I have had this setup for 2.5 yrs and its just as good now as it was then and hasn't disappointed me yet but more is better. Lol.

Max Core temp is 54°C during tests 48°C gaming
Temp is not an issue yet.

Full specs other than whats listed on CPU-Z;
Thermaltake x-71 case
Thermaltake water 3.0 Ultimate 360mm AIO in top of case
3x Cougar turbine 120mm fans on cooler exhausting air out
2x 200mm Thermaltake fans in front as intake fans
1x 140mm fan on back as exhaust
Voltage is set to 1.44 drooping to whats shown in CPU-Z (1.368) I feel that's my soft spot.

P.S. Sorry for the long post just want everyone to see where I'm at and maybe where I can do better

Solution
Nope, not worth it at all.
Your CPU cooler is also vastly out of proportion for your CPU atm.
Save up the cash until you can upgrade to a 7700k or a 1700 if you're rendering.

Funny thing is, I really don't do much on my pc. I recently have started playing Just Cause 3, but other than that I mainly just browse the interweb. Have been thinking of upgrading as it's the oldest component in my pc but I'll take your advice and skip out on it. I have plans on building an AM4 build but I want some more processor choices first. I'm not into the early adoption of anything electronic so it will be a while. Thank you!

P.s. Yes the cooler is WAY more than I need but overkill is king right?
