Battlefield FPS while streaming?

I stream with OBS studio at 1080p and downscale it to 720p. I use the second option for sharpening the downscale and play the game on ultra. I have a GTX 1070, i7 6700k clocked at 4.4ghz and 16gb of RAM. While streaming Conquest I get about 70fps, but sometimes it drops down to about 55. I've had it once drop to mid 40s for a split second. Is this normal?

Streaming on the same computer you are playing on takes quite a bit of processing power so dips in FPS as well as a lower FPS than when you aren't streaming is normal.
