can i use two different size of ram like 1x4,1x8 because i bought my pc only 4gb of ram i want upgrade,what will i buy 8gb or 4gb,will it work in 1x4 and 1x8?

if ur mobo has 4 ram slots, go ahead n do a 4x4gb of the same model. its best if u have similar rams in the dual channel slots. the blue blue, red red or the matching color slots in ur mobo.
