New build. Asus z270e gaming MB, I5 7600k. 16GB crucial ballistic DDR4 2400. Asus strix gtx 1060 gpu. Powers on all lights and fans kick on including liquid cooler. No beeps or anything. Won't get signal on monitor and not sure why. I called Asus and the guy on the phone said that the MB needs a bios update in order to work with the new I5 7600 CPU from kaby lake and I would have to tear it apart and send it in for update. He however did not sound very confident so just looking for second opinions or if this is actually probably correct. Thanks! First build ever!

Solution
Try without graphics card. If still no go, the tv might not support low resolutions, so I suggest borrowing a monitor, installing Windows and the graphics driver, and then you should be able to use the tv.

Alright I will! If I try a monitor and it still doesn't boot to bios then I won't be able to install windows. If that happens where should I go from there? Sorry if I mess up the lingo it's my first build ever and I'm just getting into pc gaming so everything is very new! I appreciate the help though!

Most likely your system is not POSTing, hence no beeps and no signal to monitor.

When system won't POST that's generally due to the CPU not supported by the existing BIOS version, in which case you need to update the BIOS to the latest version, as suggested by Asus support.
