Is this the perfect setup for 1080p gaming?

Solution
Just a quick look on Amazon Logitech G710+ is on sale for $80. It's full on keyboard with multimedia keys and +6 programmable macro keys, mechanical, backlit with palm rest. Depends on what you like there are also Corsair Strafe or K70. I use G610 because my keyboard space is a bit small, it has better lighting effect than the G710.

not you

for 1080p60hz the gtx 1060 is sweet spot but your monitor is 1080p144hz so even a gtx 1080 would be justified (that said your 1070 will also do very well)

you cant overkill monitors imo as it always has a direct effect on your experience you just need to find a card that fitts to your monitor and the gtx 1070 is cerainly one of thoes ;)

nothing exactly stands out for me in that build you could cut the cost yes by choosing an ssd with less space or maybe a cheaper case but case is preferance and if you like the looks of this than its worth it for you also if you want to play from ssd you need that one
so i wouldnt change anything

If you want a "perfect" 1080p 144Hz, it actually requires a min GTX 1080. GTX 1080Ti is even better. However, if you are not looking for a "perfect" experience, GTX 1070 is plenty. Just do not expect it to keep 100+ FPS maxed settings on new games. For reference, Ghost Recon Wildlands devastates the card at 1080p (sub 50 fps lol). No problem with turning down graphics to get higher FPS though.

If you want to make the price lower just swap that LED RAM for Corsair Vengeance LPX. Ditch the RGB keyboard for a normal back lighting mechanical keyboard.

I think I will be putting my main games on my ssd and others on my hd.
Cheers.
