Hi there,

I'm planning on building my next gaming pc. My previous one was a budget build that I assembled a few years back, which is all kind of outdated now.

The build I plan on doing is as follows: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/vfzJXH

The games that i would want to run more than comfortably on 1440p would for example be: BF1, GTA V, Player Unknown's Battlegrounds, Destiny 2 (after release). For this I will also be buying a fitting monitor with 144hz refresh rate, 2560x1440p resolution, and possibly g-sync.

Since I might have overlooked a thing or two concerning compatibility, and I am not a very experienced builder, I was wondering if any of you could do a quick compatibility check based on your experience and give me some suggestions. I was especially wondering if the CPU, RAM and motherboard would be compatible, since the RAM I want says it is compatible with X99 and Intel 100 series mobos and didn't mention Z270. But any advice or suggestion is greatly appreciated!

Thanks for the quick reply and suggestions! I forgot to mention that I do plan on doing a moderate overclock. Would the cooling be adequate in the build I posted? The S340 elite comes with an exhaust fan at the back and top, the Noctua fans would go as intake in the front. I'm trying to go for a classy black/silver build with not so much colors. I'll go for the psu you posted. Would the cpu and gpu of your post still be a better option when overclocking?

A lot of games are starting to use more than 4 threads. The board comes with lots of connectivity options, overclocking potential and features like superior audio codec with headphone amps, bluetooth and wifi. NEX is not the best of units.

Thanks for the suggestions! I will take the psu and cpu into consideration but I do want to stick with a nice looking TG case. I'll take the mobo into consideration as well but I'll have to check the exact differences between the F and E version and decide which suffices my needs.

The E has everything that F has, and then some more... https://us.hardware.info/comparisontable/products/377817-379617
There is not much difference between the case you chose and the one in this list.
