Recently I decided to upgrade my processor from an i3 to an i5-7600k when I installed the new one and tried to boot up my computer the fans all spun but nothing came up on screen so I shut it all and took the i5 out and realized that the corner on the i5 was bent so I figured it was shot, I took the old processor, the i3 and put it back in and when I tried starting my CPU up none of the fans came up along with nothing on the screen

Solution

Z170 board requires BIOS update to support i5-7600k btw.

Anyway - examine cpu socket for bent pins.
And connect motherboard speaker - beeps will help to diagnose the problem.
I would check the Motherboard out where you place the CPU to see if none off them are damaged! Because your CPU pins are bent but could be the motherboard ones that could be damaged now

Photo to make sure what am talking about this is MB where you place your CPU make sure that their not damaged because you might need a new MB if they are because i had to get a new MB because i scraped and damaged them off by placing my CPU and the computer just shuts off right away!

I have checked the pins they're all fine, I just took my ram out and put it back in and now my fans all come on but nothing on screen (this is with the old i3 processor)

Normally when CPU wont work it shuts off the computer right away but your having fans on and such so it could be a display issue have you plugged the cable into the Graphic card port and tried changing your monitor to the settings to HD Or DP

Ok just reseated processor and heat sink and turned it on and I realized that the graphics card fan was starting and stopping now all the others are running smoothly edit: took the graphics card out and tried starting without it still nothing on screen
