Will a corsair CX 600 power a MSI R9 390?

I've seen many people recommending more than 650w saying the 390 can use up to 400 at max load, but MSI's official website says the wattage consumption is 275w:https://www.msi.com/Graphics-card/R9-390-GAMING-8G.html#hero-specification
I'm really worried as I'm about to buy a pc with an i7 4790k with corsair cx 600 psu, will it do?

Solution

The 970 is a good alternative and the cx would be enough to power it, though as i said earlier i'd swap the cx for something better as soon as possible anyway (assuming it's the old green label one).

Used to have that same psu, what a horrible pile of s*** it was.

To be fair, i think it probably would power the 390 (assuming it can still output 600w) but if i were you, i'd get a new psu anyway.

Question from Hammad5161 : "Will a corsair CX 600 power a MSI R9 390?"

MSI's Minimum System Requirements stated on the packaging says a 750W or greater power supply (i.e. just like the other AMD AIB (Add-In Board) partners state on their packaging). If you were to overclock the card and run Furmark stability testing you will definitely need it.

so should I not get the r9 390 too much of a risk with the cx 600 psu? Alternatively I can buy a new EVGA SSC 970 for same price, I will be gaming on 144hz 1080p and not looking to change anytime soon, so I will not be playing games on max settings, high settings to get the 100+ I am satisfied, so should I just get the 970? Thanks for the help guys you're very quick
