Hello good day,
I'm having issues picking a motherboard for my next build. Will be primarily for gaming, and will be overclocking CPU moderately. Here are the specs:
Intel 7600K
Corsair H100i V2
16GB Corsair Vengeance LPX DDR4 @ 3000MHz
ASUS STRIX 980
I'm considering the ASUS ROG STRIX Z270H and the MSI Z270 SLI PLUS as they fall within my price range, have the right amount of features that I want, and would both fit with the black/white theme of my build.
I'm wondering if anyone has experience with these and can tell me which is better build quality, if either has better power delivery, etc.
Also one more question. These will be going in a Phanteks P400S tempered glass case. Clearance is an issue in the top of that case so that my radiator will need to be front mounted which I'm OK with. I'm wondering if the heatsinks at the top of these motherboards would pose a problem with mounting 120mm fans in the top of the case.
