Today, I tried hooking up my second monitor to my PC. Unfortunately, it's only VGA compatible and I have no VGA port on my Graphics Card.

I was considering buying an Adapter but they are quite expensive. Are there any ways I can somehow enable the VGA port so it can connect to the monitor?

Thanks

Specs:

Processor : AMD Athlon X4 750K Quad Core Processor
Graphics Card : AMD Radeon R9 200 Series
Motherboard: MSI A55M-E33 (MS-7721)
RAM: 8 GB

Solution
Most likely your best shot is to use HDMI to DVI cable to connect main monitor, and DVI-I to VGA adapter to connect second monitor. However, make sure card has DVI-I, not DVI-D port, as the latter would not work with simple adapter and would need active adapter (and those are expensive indeed).

Short answer is no. The onboard gfx vga is redundant using that cpu as it doesnt have built in gfx . The motherboard is capable of passing video through vga but only with a supporting Cpu .
What gfx card is it ? I know its a r9 200 series but there all different . The reason i ask is that i need to know what connections are on it .

There is only DVI and HDMI connection ports.

ok . Use a hdmi to dvi adapter for the dvi
then use a dvi adapter to vga for the other port.
Adapters are cheap as chips , well not chips from my local chippy as there like expensive and there only like potatoes.
