cpu(intel i5 6600k) gets hot, fans roar, and I have to shut it down. normally only on first boot of day,sometimes not at all.

When I boot up my pc for the first time of the day, it often sounds fine until the fans begin to increase in noise and I check my temperatures to see that my CPU is getting hot, so I shut it off.(before i caught onto the issue, the PC would crash.)Now it normally takes 2 boots before my computer runs fine.(CPU at steady 17 Celsius) I'm really at a loss here, and I know its a unique problem, but if anyone has any insight to such an issue,I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks :)

Specs:
Intel i5 6600k CPU, cooled with Corsair H60 liquid cooler
Corsair CX650M PSU
Nvidia geforce 1070(MSI dual fan)
Gigabyte B150M-Ds3H Motherboard

If that worked, look to see which motherboard connection you have the pump hooked up to, it should be a 3 pin type and marked as 'sys' while the fan should be hooked up to the 4 pin header marked 'CPU_1'.
Set the system fan you have hooked the pump up to to 90% and the others as you wish that should keep things cool and quiet.

@Ecky thanks for the quick response! I will need to check on that tommorow, as I probably will not be able to recreate the conditions today as I rebooted twice to get to normal conditions. I will update the thread tommorow when the fans roar. Thank you.

@coozie7, im sorry as im a bit new to PC's,(first build) but how would I go about checking the BIOS settings on windows 10? Would i need to reinstall windows?

I went into bios and set them to full speed, but the noise is just too much, ill need to manually set it to something reasonable after looking at how to pick a good speed. Thanks for the help.
