Exactly as the title says. I'm guessing it's a HDD issue, but every test I've done with CHKDSK, defragging with Auslogic, etc, etc, has come back with the numbers being fine. I can go from playing something as simple as Rimworld (Noticeably hangs when loading a save file) or something like Mass Effect: Andromeda where I have to sit in place for a solid minute or two after it's loaded before it cooperates and stops the stuttering. I've also run Memtest86 in case it was a RAM issue. It (generally) goes away after playing the game for a few minutes, but it's incredibly annoying in the meantime. It's also noticeable when it's loading assets on the fly.
Anyway, my specs:
8 gigs DDR3 RAM @ 1333.
1050ti SC 4 GB
500 GB 7200 RPM HDD.
i5 4690k @ 3.5 Ghz.
W7 64 bit
