BSoD while playing games in general since Win 10

Ever since i installed Windows 10 I've noticed I blue screen on several games and sometimes its on games i dont expect it. The first 4 games i noticed it with was Overwatch, WoW, No Man's Sky, and Watch Dogs 2. And now lately i bluescreen on games like Heroes of the Storm and Fallout 4 where i have never blue screened before. Graphics here range from low demand to high demand and I've played other games like GTA5 without blue screening ever. I get a variety of BSoD. Most times its IRQL not less or equal.

I use bluescreen view to help me with it but im stumped. Most of them point to the file ntoskrnl.exe(somes with the +95adf or +1886a9) I've tried running a memtest which i passed, ive scanned my system for corrupt file using the cmd prompt. Ive reinstall windows several times. I have even reinstalled my graphics drivers a million times as i know this issue is caused by nvidia. drivers. I have even used DDU to uninstall the old files and then reinstalled them. I have made sure that all my drivers are up to date for EVERYTHING on my computer. I have tried almost everything i can possibly think of at this point and nothing seems to help.

Can you download and run who crashed - it is similar to Bluescreenview but formats things in an easier to read way. it will give us a glimpse of the errors you getting and might help us solve them

Copy/paste summary in here and I see what I can do :)

irq errors are generally drivers, can be ram but you checked that.

Let me know if theres anything else. Also as a side note I had posted in the past, possibly back in February/March about this on the Windows 10 forums and they had told me my bios drivers and others were still outdate despite downloading and individual checking each driver to make sure they were up to date which they were.

even though you say you have latest drivers, one of them is causing the bsod

Try running driver verifer, just read the instructions carefully. It is part of win 10 designed to find misbehaving drivers. It will cause BSOD, that is its job since it tests drivers.

Once it bsod, run Who crashed and see what driver it reveals

note: sometimes this will put you into a boot loop so it helps to have a win 10 installer handy to get out again
download the Windows 10 media creation tool and use it to make a win 10 installer on USB

The instructions to stop it are in the link above I will show u anyway
change boot order so USB is first, hdd second
boot from installer
on screen after languages, choose repair this pc, not install.
choose troubleshoot
choose advanced
choose command Prompt
type verifer /reset and press enter
restart PC

Ok so i created the back up on a usb and ran the verifier but didnt blue screen or go through a loop of restarts like i was expecting. So im not sure whats next. I should just continue playing games normally and if i blue screen check the who crashed and post back here?

the boot loop is rare, i just give it to people in case it does happen. Its not expected

You could read the posting instructions here and ask them as they have more people around who can read dump files - https://www.tenforums.com/bsod-crashes-debugging/

Yea i posted there before back in November last year. The first thing they told me to update my bios and other drivers as i stated above which is what i went and did but the files were still saying they were not up to date. The last thing they had told me to do was run memtest which i passed, i just never posted that i passed because I just felt it was going no where.

It sounds like you have fresh installed at some stage, and you on latest build as well.

normally I would ask for minidumps but they may not work as since the creators edition of win 10 the debugger finds corruption in the dumps. You can try I guess as they may work (I can't read them but a few around here can)

Can you follow option one here: http://www.tenforums.com/tutorials/5560-bsod-minidump-configure-create-windows-10-a.html
and then do this step below: Small memory dumps - Have Windows Create a Small Memory Dump (Minidump) on BSOD

that creates a file in c /minidump
copy that file to documents
upload the copy from documents to a cloud server and share the link here and someone with right software to read them will help you fix it :)

Perhaps use this and show us what is installed? https://www.howtogeek.com/205355/how-to-see-a-list-of-all-installed-windows-drivers/

that is part of windows, i would expect it should be there but I was expecting the print out to show a lot more than just 1 driver. That might be the 1st in alphabetical order but your PC has more than 1 driver installed. I wasn't really after windows drivers anyway, I wanted the non windows drivers like your GPU or Motherboard drivers

I just ran driverquery /v and got more than a page, did you run that or the freeware program they showed? freeware program shows 357 drivers as well. If you got it, try generating html report but I am not 100% sure how you would share it

Yea i used the freeware program they showed, it shows 350 for me, i used the cmd prompt but im not sure how many it showed nor would i know how to copy and paste that to show through there. I also dont think that there is a free way of sharing an html file.
I also noticed the file you were talking about has a red light which im sure means bad lol.

Green Icon - The driver is running on Windows kernel.
Yellow Icon - The driver is not running on Windows kernel.
Red Icon - The driver is not running on Windows kernel, but it should be loaded automatically when Windows starts. When you see a red icon, it's possible that something is wrong with the driver. Be aware that on Windows 8, there are 2 drivers of the operating system that are normally displayed with red icon.
http://www.nirsoft.net/utils/installed_drivers_list.html

careful what you think is bad

I guess you could show screen shot of all the ones with red icons?

I don't know if this is helping at all but its something...

they don't appear out of place

til Win 10 has a floppy disk driver, wonder what percentage of users still have one of those in PC.

a driver is causing one of those errors but its not showing its face.

you can try this but it may not work, its the tool people use to read minidumps but the results are hit and miss on Creators edition until something is fixed - i don't know what - https://developer.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/hardware/download-windbg

have you ever asked on here? https://www.bleepingcomputer.com/forums/t/576686/bleepingcomputer-now-offers-a-dedicated-windows-bsod-and-crashes-support-forum/

Just decided to go ahead and do a full reboot of my piece, reinstalled Windows 7 and deleted all 3 of my harddrives for a fresh start. Reinstalling windows 10, hoping this works even though its kind of a hassel.
