Doubled boot time with a secondary hard drive plugged in

I have 4 storage devices, Boot drive is a 240GB Kingston V300 SSD, A 500GB WD Blue HDD, a Sandisk 120GB SSD & 2TB WD Black HDD. Since moving my hardware into a new case I've come across significantly longer boot times, and after singing into windows it hangs for around 30 seconds then goes to a black screen with a cursor for another minute before showing my desktop screen and everything starts working.

I have tried unplugging each drive before boot and testing one by one, I've narrowed it down to be the cause of my 2TB WD Black drive, all the other drives added booted fine. I then tried switching the SATA cables and it made no difference, the 2TB is plugged into the 5th SATA 6Gb/s port while my boot SSD is plugged into port 1.

The problem never occurred with the drive in the old case, only now is it a problem, I experienced the problem before as well as freezing with an old 1TB WD external drive, which was narrowed down to damage. I can't figure out why the HDD is causing this as i handled it correctly while switching cases, the drive is also completely fine after the booting/startup problem.

I would greatly appreciate any help to find problem and find out how to fix it, Thanks.

Yes, you would get to login screen even if BOOT disk is not first in the list end there's no other BOOT partitions present. In that case BIOS has to check each drive to see what's on it. That can delay BOOT substantially. That's why I asked. Also check if that HDD has any vestiges of an old OS.
