Hi all,
A friend of mine gave me a tp link wd 8980. He tells me that it suddendly broke up. If I can restore this router I can have it.
The router power up normally, but if it can't reach 192.168.1.1 setting page. No matter if I change eth port or reset the router or change browser or pc.
The only thing a bit strange that I've notice is that sometimes the 3 eth port led starts glowing also if there is no eth cable connected.
and the windows eth icon shows a red X and then switch to the yellow exclamation mark.
I also try to change the DC power, nothing seems useful.
I starting to thing that someone try to flash a firmware and it goes bad, can be this the problem?
Any advice to restore this router? can I reinstall the firmware in some way?
