Which Graphics Card

Good Morning All,
I am looking for a graphics card for the computer I just build, my first one (very proud of myself haha) but am a little confused. There are so many to choose from and so many people (sales) are telling me what I need. I have been looking at the 1070, 1080, and the 1080ti for my next GPU but don't really know if i need to spend the money for the 1080TI, or if the 1070 is really what I need or maybe the 1080 is what I need. Unfortunately I don't know enough about them. Your help would be much appreciated. Below is what I have currently :)

ASUS Maximus IX Formula LGA 1151
I7-7700K
NZXT Kraken X62
G.Skill TridentZ RGB DDR4 3200 PC4 25600
Acer Predator x34 (main monitor)
ASUS ROG SWIFT PG278Q 27-inch Gaming Monitor (Second Monitor)

Ok so your main monitor is 3440 x 1440 which can be overclocked to 100hz. I am assuming your are going to use this as your main gaming monitor. But your other monitor is 2560 x 1440 with 144hz meaning it has higher fps. So this is between (ultrawide or normal) vs Frames, which do you prefer?

I plan to use the 3440 x 1440 as my main monitor, and the other just as a secondary. So, that is why I am little confused as to which GPU to get since, i couldn't really find anything with test for an ultra wide monitor overclocked at 100hz.

considering gtx 1080ti / 1080 is mainly for 4k i would recommend a gtx 1070, but if you have to money to spend buy a 1080ti and future proof a bit more. Or wait for volta which might or might not be better.
