Why my system lag even though it has a good specs

System specs
HP envy
-i7 5th gen processor
-Nvidia gtx 950 4gb
-12 GB ram
Still suddenly starts lagging when I'm playing witcher3, GTA 5, watch dogs 2
And all my drivers are updated

The only thing I can think of is that those games don't like your GTX 950. If you have a friend with a higher card, ask them if you can borrow it to test whether your own is too weak or if there's something else going on.
